House of Cool Animation studio (2010-2011)
Responsible for creating and developing design for the series “The LeBrons”. Worked under strict deadlines for international clients, corresponding directly with the Production team and Director throughout the duration of the show. Supervised a design team and ensured that they completed assigned tasks, to the standards and expectations of the client.
Lead Background Painter
Disney TV/ House of Cool Animation studio (2010)
Created and developed background paintings for the “Gravity Falls” Pilot episode. Managed the in-house painting team, collaborating to establish the final look of the pilot. Designed the pilots backgrounds from layout to final paint.
Character Design
EOne International entertainment content and distribution business (2010)
Character development for a pitch called “Showbiz Zoo”. Worked to design 8 of the main characters for the series to be sold as a comedy series for children.

BAA, Animation (2010)
“FIXED” My grad film and thesis was a Three-minute 2-D animated short. I was responsible for all aspects of production of the short film. Techniques include both traditional pen and ink as well as digital animation and painting.
For the short I was awarded the Ricardo Curtis “Best Story Award” and graduated with honors. It has since been screened in several international animation festivals including the “World Film Festival” in Montreal Canada, and the “LA shorts Fest” in the USA.
In my third year of studies I was the recipient of the Disney Animation Bursary. Previous to this in my second year I was finalist for the 2005 Teletoon Animation Scholarship Award.

University Settlement Educational, Community Institution (2009)
Developed and directed a “Drawing for Animation” workshop for kids. The summer program was aimed to help kids ages 7-15 learn to draw and create their own characters to be animated. Taught children animation specific lessons on drawing characters, and helped kids develop their own characters and cartoons geared towards a final project.

Aside from my work in design and animation I also pursue my passion of comics. I have written and illustrated two short stories as comics; both have been published in the “The Anthology Project” volume 1 and 2.
